Kytidou Eleni

Eleni
Kytidou was born in Kavala in 1981. She graduated from the Department of
Information Management at the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala
(ATEI Kavala) in 2006. She then completed postgraduate studies in
“Administrative Science and Information Systems” at the Technological
Educational Institute of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, and in “Educational
Sciences with a focus on Special Education” at the Open University of Cyprus
(OUC). She has attended training programs and seminars on intercultural
education, special education, new technologies, and educational robotics. She
has participated in conferences as a paper reviewer, member of an organizational
and scientific committee, and speaker on topics related to educational robotics
and special education. She holds a LEGOEducation certificate for the EV3
platform and is a certified instructor of the Robotics Academy of Frederick
University and UNICERT. She also serves as a trainer coordinator and robotics
instructor in training programs of the eTwinning European school community. She
has worked as an ICT teacher in the primary and secondary sector, as well as in
adult education for OAED (Employment Agency), IEK (Institute of Vocational
Training), Public IEK (Public Institute of Vocational Training), EPAS
(Vocational Education School). Since 2019, she has been an IT civil servant for
the Ministry of Culture and Sports. At the same time, she teaches educational
robotics at the Creative Employment Centres for Children (KDAP) in Kavala. Her
children’s books include “The Bee of Joy and Emotions” (Ydroplano Publications,
2021), “The Christmas When I Discovered Myself”, and “The Magical Sugary
Recipe” (Komninos Publications, 2022).
